DBi Services Receives Investment from Sterling Partners

DBi Services (DBi), a Hazleton, PA-based infrastructure operations and maintenance platform, received an investment from Chicago-based Sterling Partners, a growth-oriented private equity firm.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

The company intends to use the funds for employee growth.

Founded in 1978 by Paul and Neal DeAngelo, DBi provides infrastructure maintenance, management and operations solutions to government agencies, utilities, private industries, railways, retailers and other infrastructure owners. The company, which currently maintains and operates projects that include the Woodrow Wilson Bridge and the Sunshine Skyway Bridge, a large cable-stayed concrete bridge, is today one of North America’s largest transportation infrastructure operations and maintenance companies, with a global network of over 50 locations and more than 1,500 employees.
