Sensay, a Los Angeles, CA-based AI- and chat bot-focused tech startup that connects humans to chat and transact across any messenger, raised $4.5m in seed funding.
The round was led by Norwest Venture Partners with participation from Greycroft Partners, Sweet Capital, NHN, Draper Associates and other existing investors.
The company, which has raised $6m in total funding to date, intends to use the capital to launch across additional messengers and expansion to international markets.
Led by Ariel Jalali, Co-Founder and CEO, Sensay is a peer-to-peer chat bot platform that facilitates instant conversations between two people across messaging platforms such as SMS, Slack, Kik, Telegram and Facebook Messenger.
