According to a regulatory filing with the SEC, True Ventures, a Palo Alto, CA-based venture capital firm, is raising its second select fund.
True Ventures Select II, L.P. is seeking to raise $175m. The doc lists founders Jon Callaghan and Philip Black as people related to the offering, which follows the recent launch of the $295m True Ventures V fund.
Founded in 2005, True invests in early-stage technology startups. With capital under management in excess of $1 billion more than 200 companies funded and multiple companies acquired, it provides seed and Series A funding to entrepreneurs in today’s fastest growing markets.
Beyond capital, the firm maintains a founder community through which it offers innovative educational opportunities to its portfolio.
