Personal Care Startup HomeTouch Raises £700K in Funding

ht-logoHomeTouch, a London, UK-based personal care startup, raised £700k in funding.

The round was led by Global Founders Capital, with participation from Passion Capital.

The company, which has raised £1.75m in total funding, intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations nationwide.

Founded in 2011 by Dr Jamie Wilson, a former NHS dementia physician, HomeTouch provides a home-based personal care service marketplace connecting people in need with vetted service providers nearby. The company also features a suite of tools to monitor care, to track task logging, punctuality, geoverification and time spent at the care visit.
Since launch in early 2015, the company has grown to cover every London borough and is now involved in expand nationwide.
