Marketing Software Company Phrasee Raises £1M in Seed Funding

WebPhrasee, a London, UK-based marketing software company using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to boost email response rates, raised £1m in seed funding.

The round was led by global digital communications business Next Fifteen (Next 15) and angel syndicate Galvanise Capital.

The company intends to use the funds for research and development purposes, and expansion of the reach of scientific approach to email marketing in both the UK and US MarTech markets.

Founded in early 2015 by Parry Malm, Dr. Neil Yager and Victoria Peppiatt, Phrasee uses artificial intelligence to generate marketing language that out-performs humans. It uses advanced language technologies to quantify, generate and optimize email subject lines, and other language types, that increase opens, clicks and conversions.
The company also has an office in Vancouver, Canada.
