Jobs Marketplace CornerJob Raises $25M in Series B Funding

cornerjobCornerJob, a Barcelona, Spain-based jobs marketplace, raised $25m in a Series B funding round.

The round was led by Northzone, with participation from e.ventures, and earlier investors ($20M). An additional $5M media for equity portion was provided by TV Azteca’s fund (managed by Antai Venture Builder and Variv) in order to grow CornerJob in Mexico.

The company will use the funds to continue to expand operations.

Co-founded by Miguel Vicente, Gerard Olivé, David Rodriguez and Mauro Maltagliati, CornerJob provides an Android and iOS app that allows users to create a profile, search and apply to any job offer they want including part time, full time, student job. etc.
The app, which also gives users the opportunity to chat with companies and help them understand their profile, is currently active in Spain, France, UK, Mexico and UK.
