Automile Raises $6.2M in Funding

Automile_LogoAutomile, a Palo Alto, CA-based Internet of Things company which allows companies to manage their fleets, raised $6.2m in funding.

The round was led by Jason Lemkin’s SaaStr Fund with participation from existing investors Dawn Capital and Christoph Janz, an early-stage investor in Zendesk, and his Point Nine Capital fund as well as new investors Twitch founder Justin Kan, Skype founder Niklas Zennstrƶm, and Pingdom founder Sam Nurmi.

The company intends to use the funds to further accelerate its growth.

Led by Jens Nylander, CEO and founder, Automile provides businesses with vehicles and drivers with an Internet of Things (IoT) cloud-based, mobile-optimized platformĀ which leverage sensors to manage compliance, fuel consumption, risks and productivity.
The company serves thousands of businesses accounting for tens of thousands of seats.
