Findo.io, a Menlo Park, CA-based AI smart search assistant for personal cloud, messenger and offline files, raised $3m in its second seed funding round.
Backers included Flint Capital, a VC firm that invests in the mobile, SaaS, Advertising, Financial and Educational Technologies, and Security and Enterprise sectors. An additional $1m in co-investment is expected to be raised from several Silicon Valley Angels.
Led by Gary A. Fowler, Co-Founder and CEO, and Dr. David Yang, Co-Founder and Chairman, Findo has just launched the AI smart search engine, which uses artificial intelligence to allow people to manage their personal data and content, no matter where data lives. Its smart search engine allows users to find information in a wide array of documents, slides, audio files, images, or any other information from sources as varied as Dropbox, Google Drive, Evernote and Gmail, Exchange and Outlook.
Findo search bots can search from Slack, Telegram, Facebook Messenger and Skype.
The new smart search tool, Predictive Insights, uses AI technology to search information and produce alerts.
