PatternEx, a San Jose, CA-based Artificial Intelligence powered cybersecurity platform, raised $7.8m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Khosla Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to create new functionality for the platform and increase its go to market team.
Founded in 2013 by Uday Veeramachaneni, CEO, PatternEx provides a threat prediction platform powered by patent-pending active contextual modeling technology. It combines artificial intelligence and human analyst intuition in an innovative methodology that teaches software to identify malicious intent defending against cyber attacks in real time and at scale.
