Yunha Kim Comes Back with Meditation App Simple Habit

yunhakim-1Yunha Kim, Founder and CEO of Locket, which was acquired by Wish in 2015, is coming back with a new mobile startup.

Simple Habit has just launched an iOS mobile app for busy people to meditate on the go and avoid burning out via five-minute sessions customized for specific situations and moments in the day.

Kim – selected by Business Insider as 30 Under 30’s Most Creative in Advertising – said that the new startup is based on her own experience. She began meditating during the stressful process of launching her previous startup, Locket, which raised $3.2m from Tyra Banks, Turner Broadcasting and Great Oaks VC, and was acquired by Wish in 2015.

“As much as I loved working on my own company, I was under a lot of pressure, wasn’t sleeping well, and felt like I was working 24/7.
“I was so stressed that I started meditating. Meditation changed the way I dealt with stress,” she said.

The app has already been tested by thousands of beta users including busy professionals and university students with anxiety and sleep problems.
