Web Search Platform Node Raises $7.5M in Funding

Node-logoNode, a San Francisco, CA-based data intelligence layer that reorganizes information on the web based on the people who use it, raised $7.5m in funding.

Backers included Mark Cuban, New Enterprise Associates (NEA), Avalon Ventures, Canaan Partners, Bee Partners, and Entrée Capital.

Founded by CEO Falon Fatemi, Node has developed technology that is reorganizing the web to facilitate personalized discovery, where relevant information will be automatically recommended to the user, at the right time, without requiring a search box.
Now in stealth mode, the company’s team includes Google, Facebook, Wildfire search engineers and natural language processing experts.

The company is currently focused on scaling its platform for sales and marketing and on working with select enterprise customers.
