NYC-based female focused venture capital firm Female Founders Fund is to raise its second fund.
According to a regulatory form filed with the SEC, the firm is seeking to raise $30m for Female Founders Fund II, L.P. The document lists founding partner Anuradha Duggal as person related to the offering.
Led by Duggal, and partner Sutian Dong, Female Founders Fund invests in startups operating in areas where women-led startups have a big impact such as e-commerce, web-enabled products and services, marketplaces, and platforms.
The firm has over 20 companies in portfolio including Manicube, Landit, Culinary Agents, Sawyer, Loverly, Ringly, Bentobox, Viyet, Eloquii, Minibar, etc.
The team also includes Beth Ferreira, Somak Chattopadhyay and Casey Taylor.
