iGoOn, a Naples, Italy-based real time carpooling system, raised €360k in funding.
The round was led by the regiaonl vc fund managed by Sviluppo Basilicata, with participation from an unnamed backer.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and the enterprise adoption of its system.
Founded in 2014 by CEO Claudio Cimmelli, Stefano Sepe, Luigi Picaro, Alessia Guarino and Massimiliano Di Mella and accelerated within TIM Wcap, iGoOn provides a real time system of ride sharing, both in urban and suburban ways, which offers a real time localization of drivers and passengers, automatically contacted by the system.
An Android e iOS app allows users to access to the system and to communicate the destination to be reached.
