Partech Ventures Adds Reza Malekzadeh & Emmanuel Delaveau as General Partners

Global venture capital firm Partech Ventures has further expanded its team with two newly appointed General Partners.

In order to strengthen its transatlantic presence, the Paris-based firm has appointed Reza Malekzadeh in San Francisco and Emmanuel Delaveau in Paris.

Malekzadeh, who has twenty years of experience in various executive sales, marketing and operations roles for both large and startup companies and one of the very early VMware employees joining the company in 1998, joined the Venture team as a General Partner alongside Nicolas El Baze in San Francisco, Philippe Collombel and Jean-Marc Patouillaud in Paris, and Olivier Schuepbach in Berlin.
Emmanuel Delaveau, who – over the past 9 years – developed CNP Assurances’ private equity activities, which grew to more than €6 billion, will strengthen investor relations and structure the investment firm’s growth strategy and business development initiatives.

With offices in San Francisco, Paris and Berlin, Partech Ventures invests in Internet and information technology startups at seed, venture and growth stages. Since 1982, the firm has completed 21 initial public offerings, and more than 50 M&A transactions over $100m with large international companies (such as eBay, SAP, Vivendi, VMware, IBM, Oracle or TripAdvisor).
