MisterFly, a Paris, France-based online travel agency, raised €20m in its first round of funding.
The round was led by private equity firm Montefiore Investment with participation from e-commerce retail company Vente-Privee.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to develop its platform, as well as expand operations, reaching €100m in revenue within its first year, and makeing acquisitions in both the consumer and B2B travel sector.
Co-founded by Nicolas Brumelot and Carlos Da Silva, MisterFly is a travel agency specializing in the sale of air tickets at special rates from hundreds of companies for thousands of destinations worldwide.
In order to expand its offering, the company recently merged with H-Resa, an online travel brand specializing in hotel bookings.
