Embotics, an Ottawa, Canada-based provider of multi-cloud management software for public and private cloud environments, raised $12.1m in growth funding.
Arrowroot Capital made the investment.
The company intends to use the funds to drive customer acquisition and expansion through increased investment in sales and marketing initiatives as well as product development.
Led by Michael L. Torto, CEO, Embotics provides a multi-cloud management platform for enterprise IT and managed service providers to automate and control their virtualized and cloud environments. Embotics vCommander integrates into any private, public or hybrid infrastructure in order to allow enterprises and service providers to deliver ITaaS, intelligent automation and IT governance and control.
The company recently opened U.S. headquarters in Boston.
