Resin.io, a Seattle, WA-based provider of a modern DevOps management platform for connected devices, secured $9m in funding.
Backers included DFJ, GE Ventures, Ericsson, and Aspect Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand tis product presence, grow its open source community, and broaden its global reach through new strategic partnerships and channels.
Founded in 2013 by Alexandros Marinos, CEO, Resin.io uses Linux containers and other open technologies to simplify the way developers build, deploy, and manage software for IoT devices. Businesses across a range of vertical industries use resin.io to deliver software for security patches, new feature deployments and device configuration changes.
The company also has offices in London, England, and Athens, Greece.
