Lux, a San Francisco, California-based mobile app for home-styling and design, raised $3.5m in funding.
The round was led by IDG Capital Partners and Frees Fund.
The company intends to use the funds to grow its team, add key features to the app, and expand its merchandising efforts.
Launched in July 2015 by Kyle Jiang and Jeff Zhang, Lux provides a mobile app featuring curated lists to inspire home stylists and users, who can search for products and ideas and shop on the app with no need to switch between apps or type a product number into a search engine.
The app, available for free on the App Store and Google Play, has more than 250,000 downloads.
