Sober Grid, a Boston, MA-based provider of a mobile app for people in recovery from substance addiction that enables them to access peer support, raised a seed funding round of undisclosed amount.
The round was led by San Francisco, CA-based Launchpad Digital Health (LDH).
Sober Grid, which will participate in Launchpad’s year-long accelerator program, will use the proceeds to continue to grow operations.
Led by Beau Mann and Andrew Gelinas, Sober Grid provides a free mobile app that connects people struggling with addiction to a peer support network on demand.
Launched nationally last fall, the app is today used by more than 45,000 members.
