Fintech Startup Muume Raises CHF2.2M in Funding

muumeMuume, a Cham, Switzerland-based digital product data management and digital payment platform, raised CHF2.2m in funding.

The round was led by private equity firm Heliad Equity Partners, with participation from entrepreneur and investor Hans Thomas Gross as well as Zurich-based Family Office Keller.

The company intends to use the funds for product development and international expansion.

Led by Marco Samek, CEO, Muume provide platforms for digital self-service in daily consumption that consumers can use to complete their purchases and orders via smartphone. It offers the following product options:
– SelfServicePOS – Scan, which allows customers to shop or order at the business with their smartphones and pay in the traditional manner at the checkout or at the self-checkout terminal.
– SelfServicePOS – Pay, which allows customers to shop in the traditional manner in the business and pay digitally at the checkout with their smartphone.
– SelfServicePOS – Scan + Pay, which allows customer to shop, order and pay with their smartphone in the business.
Existing couponing or loyalty programs can be added optionally for all of the three options.

The Muume’s team also includes Daniel Gradenegger, Jochen Leidig, Andrei Postaru, Marco Samek, Diana Tofan, and Patrick Urban.
