Edtech Company CogBooks Raises £1.25M in Funding

cogbooksCogBooks, an Edinburgh, UK-based edtech company, raised £1.25m in funding.

Backers included existing investors Nesta Impact Investments, DC Thomson and the Scottish Investment Bank, the investment arm of Scottish Enterprise.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate expansion in the UK and US higher education markets.

Led by Jim Thompson, CEO, CogBooks provides an adaptive learning platform that allows publishers, universities and OER content providers to create personalized, learning experiences with a measurable impact.
