Digital Media & Content Company Woven Digital Raises $18.5M in Series B Funding

wovenWoven Digital, a Los Angeles, CA-based millennial male-focused digital media and content company, raised $18.5m in series B funding.

The round was led by WPP Ventures with participation from existing investors Institutional Venture Partners (IVP) and Advancit Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to globally expand its studio and scale its coverage of news, sports, and entertainment.

Led by Colin Digiaro, CEO, Woven Digital is a digital media company for millennial males that produces and distributes stories, original documentaries and daily programming to over 50 million monthly users.
Its three distinct brands include Uproxx (news, sports & culture), Hitfix (entertainment reviews & recaps), and BroBible (young men’s lifestyle).
The company recently announced a partnership with Forbes for the launch of Forbes Founders, a new video series centered around stories of millennial entrepreneurs, as well as the acquisition of Hitfix, a fan-focused entertainment reviews and news destination.
