B2B Sales Conversation Intelligence Platform Gong.io Raises $6m in Funding

gongGong.io, a Palo Alto, CA- and Tel Aviv, Israel-based SaaS B2B Sales Conversation Intelligence platform provider, emerged from stealth mode and raised $6m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Norwest Venture Partners and Check Point Co-Founder Shlomo Kramer.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations.

Co-founded by serial entrepreneurs Amit Bendov, CEO, and Eilon Reshef, CTO, Gong uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to allow B2B sales teams to win more deals by recognizing effective patterns from tens of thousands of hours of spoken sales conversations.
The SaaS-based platform analyzes spoken conversations from most audio sources, and web conferencing platforms such as Cisco WebEx, GoToMeeting, and Zoom and then ties the results to CRM systems such as Salesforce.com.
Over the last 9 months, while still in stealth mode, the company has developed and deployed its solution in dozens of organizations and already has sales.
