Somnoware Healthcare Systems, a Charlotte, NC-based platform for sleep wellness and sleep disorder management, secured $9m in Series A funding.
The round was led by TransLink Capital, with participation from World Innovation Lab (WiL) and existing investors.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations.
Led by Subath Kamalasan, CEO, Somnoware Healthcare Systems provides a cloud-based sleep wellness and sleep disorder management platform that connects, organizes and analyzes clinical information enabling over 1500 sleep physicians at health systems, independent sleep centers and sleep services companies across 42 states to manage sleep apnea.
Customers include Carolinas HealthCare, Delaware Sleep Disorders Center, Emerald Sleep Services, REM Sleep Center and Sunset Sleep Labs.
