Kollective, a Sunnyvale, CA-based software defined networking company, closed $12.25m funding round.
Backers included MK Capital, Pritzker Group Venture Capital, Cross Creek Capital and Hatteras Funds.
The company intends to use the funds to grow sales and R&D efforts, as well as to expand in China, India, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea and Singapore.
Led by Dan Vetras, CEO, Kollective provides a cloud-based solution that utilizes Software Defined Networking to address enterprise content delivery problems for video, software updates and other large, complex files.
Over the past six months, the company Kollective has deployed more than 500,000 endpoints adding new Fortune 1000 customers worldwide.
