SAM Labs, a London, UK-based provider of IoT design kits for kids, raised £3.2m in funding.
The round was led by Imperial Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its sales and customer service teams and grow globally.
Launched in 2014 by Joachim Horn, SAM Labs creates Internet of Things development kits for designers, creatives and students to reduce prototyping time for new apps, internet connected products, and innovative research ideas.
The company, which sold over £125k worth of pre-orders in a campaign on Kickstarter, intends to focus on selling its products to schools.
