Machine Learning Radiology Startup Zebra Medical Vision Raises $12M Funding

zebra_YellowZebra Medical Vision, a Kibbutz Shefayim, Israel-based provider of big data clinical research platforms and imaging analytics services to the healthcare industry, raised $12m in funding.

The round was led by U.S. integrated care provider InterMountain Healthcare, which plans to work with Zebra to accelerate the creation of imaging algorithms to improve patient care, with participation from existing investors.

Founded in 2014 by Eyal Toledano, Eyal Gura, and Elad Benjamin, Zebra Medical Vision has developed an analytics engine for physicians and healthcare providers to analyze millions of imaging records. The platform has already yielded imaging insights that have been validated using hundreds of thousands of cases in the fields of bone health, cardiovascular analysis, liver and lung indications.
The company is taking its products to market via a strategic partnership with Dell Services, who provide cloud based imaging storage solutions to over 1,100 providers including InterMountain Healthcare.

Zebra Medical is also funded by Khosla Ventures, Marc Benioff, and OurCrowd.
