Hospital Holding Launches Micro VC Fund for Medical Startups

Hospital Holding, a Milan, Italy-based investment company working in the healthcare sector, launched a €350k micro venture capital fund.

Med One will aims to support ten startups developing new models and solutions disrupting the healthcare industry providing equity funding as well as mentoring services via Cirm – Corsorzio Italiano per la Ricerca Medica, an organization founded in 1997, whose shareholders include Niguarda Ca’ Granda (Milan), Fondazione Irccs Policlinico San Matteo (Pavia), Fondazione Don Carlo Gnocchi Onlus (Milan), Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli (Bologna), Fondazione Ettore Sansavini per la Ricerca Onlus (Ravenna).

The fund aims to support ten projects (€35k each) selected by an investment board including Riccardo Castorina, Ivan Drogo Inglese, Giuseppe Lupis Rogges, Luca Munari, Antonio Pernice, and Giampaolo Stopazzolo.
