Greetzly Raises €500K in Funding

GreetzlyGreetzly, a Vienna, Austria-based platform for fans to request video greetings from their idols, raised €500k in funding.

Investors included Speedinvest and business angel network Startup300.

The company intends to use the funds to grow the teams to further develop product and marketing efforts.

Founded in October 2014, greetzly operates a website that allows fans to request personal video messages from their idols. People can discover and request originally created videos from celebrities of all kind and share those videos with friends and family.
A part of the video fee is donated to a good cause that both the fan and celebrity share.
The company currently works with some of the world’s best established charities.
