Goodlord Raises £2M in Seed Funding

goodlord_logoGoodlord, a London, UK-based provider of a cloud based rental transaction platform, raised £2m in seed funding.

Backers included LocalGlobe Capital and Global Founders Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to hire new people and to continue developing its technology.

Founded by Richard White, and Philip and Tom Mundy, Goodlord provides a cloud-based platform bringing agencies, landlords and tenants online to process the paperwork of tenancy transactions electronically. The whole process is completed online with tenants paying their holding deposits, completing their references and signing the agreement all from their computer, or mobile phone.

The software is currently used by 200 letting agencies across the UK.
