Domotz Acquires Fing

Domotz, a London, UK-based provider of home intelligence and remote tech support systems for professionals and enterprises, acquired Fing, a network scanning app.

Launched in 2011, Fing provides technology for mobile phones and tablets that enables users to scan a network and see all connected devices, evaluate security levels, detect intruders and resolve network issues. The app, which has been downloaded over 12 million times on the App store and Google Play in the USA, the UK, Brazil, Mexico, Spain, Germany and Italy, will continue to be free for all new and existing users.
The Fing team will join Domotz and together they will continue working on the existing app as well as new monitoring systems for home and professional users. They plan to introduce their first joint product for home users in the second half of 2016.

Founded in 2014 by Domenico Crapanzano, CEO, Domotz develops remote monitoring and tech support systems for professionals, integrators, help desks and enterprises. Its recently launched remote tech support system, Domotz Pro, is used by thousands of integrators in 34+ countries around the world.
The Domotz Pro monitoring system costs $2.99 a month per network, and includes professional level features for network management including alerts, remote device access, remote power management, network diagnostics, etc.
