DigiExam, a Stockholm, Sweden-based edtech startup, raised $3.5m in Series A funding.
Backers included Joen Bonnier, Gustav Söderström, Sophia Bendz, and Sven Hagströmer.
The company, which has raised $5m in total funding to date, intends to use the funds to continue to grow internationally.
Led by Johan Hägglund, DigiExam provides a SaaS-based platform for academic testing and grading which allows students to take paperless tests and teachers to grade the results quickly.
The company, which already has offices in the US and UK, currently serves + 600 schools, +4,000 and +70,000 students for + 150,000 exams written in 2015.
The solution is available in over 40 Markets, including Sweden, USA, UK, Australia, Singapore, Canada, Russia, Germany, France, Denmark, Finland, Israel, Colombia, Turkey, India, South Africa, Nigeria, etc.
