In addition to the funding, Bruce Chizen, former Adobe CEO, has been named as Chairman of the ChargePoint board.
The company, which has raised more than $164m in total funding, intends to use the capital to scale operations and its model globally.
Led by Pasquale Romano, CEO, ChargePoint operates a EV network extending across more than 28,000 charging spots in North America. Stations are independently owned and operated. In 2015, the company also entered the residential market with the introduction of networked home products and charging services for apartments and condominiums.
