Brightwheel Raises $600K in Funding

brightwheelBrightwheel, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of software platform for early education, raised $600k in funding.

Mark Cuban and Chris Sacca invested in the company via ABC television show Shark Tank.

Led by Dave Vasen, founder, Brightwheel provides an app that allows teachers to track attendance, record observations, share photos and notes, and gain insights into daily activities – while administrators can manage across classrooms and send automated invoices for school tuition. For parents, the company provides a real-time connection with their child throughout the day.
The platform is free for both schools and families.
