Leevia, a Trento and Milan, Italy-based provider of a digital marketing platform, raised €200k in seed funding.
Backers included unnamed business angels.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate expansion into the Italian market, increase product efforts, and hire new people (read here).
Co-founded in 2013 by Francesco Mancino, Diego Durante and Piero Borgo, Leevia provides a platform that allows users at brands, NGOs and media agencies to create photo-contests and social media marketing campaigns on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter in order to engage their audience, collect qualified leads and increase brand awareness.
The company, which already serves RCS Media Group, Piazza Italia and Buongiorno SpA, won InnovAction Lab in 2013.
