Jolata, Inc., a San Jose, CA-based real-time big data analytics software company, closed a $7M second round of financing.
Backers included Spirent Communications, Ericsson and ATA Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, James Armstrong, Spirent EVP of Network Applications and Infrastructure, joined Jolata’s board of directors.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth by scaling its development, field deployment teams and expand its go-to-market partnerships.
Created by CEO John Loiacono, and Chairman Hatch Graham, Jolata provides real-time big data analytics software for large network operators to assess the quality of their networks, determine root causes of problems and how to optimize service delivery. The Jolata TruFlow platform captures and tracks up every single network flow, as it traverses the network – not just at points, but segment-by-segment.
