Armada Interactive Secures $3M in Seed Funding


Armada Interactive, a Helsinki, Finland-based stealth mode mobile gaming company, completed US$3m seed funding round.

The round was led by Initial Capital, with participation from Index Ventures, PROfounders Capital, Backed, Reaktor Ventures, Sisu Game Ventures, Chris Lee, Reynir Hardarson and Ben Feder.

The company will use the funds to launch its first title.

Founded in 2015 by serial entrepreneur Samuli Syvähuoko, Giuliano Cremaschi, Mikko Kinnunen, Juha Matikainen, Tero Teelahti, Didier Pippel and Nick Joore, Armada Interactive intends to leverage new trends in mobile gaming, including real-time 3D gameplay and synchronous PvP (player-vs-player).
The company includes 20 people.
