Star A Fire Raises $2.5M in Series A Funding

startafireStar A Fire, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based provider of a social attribution platform for marketers, brands and publishers, raised $2.5m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Canaan Venture Partners with participation from Lool Ventures and Aleksandar Totic of Netscape.

The company, which has raised $3.6m to date, intends to use the funds to expand its team to introduce new social recognition functionalities.

Launched in 2015 by CEO Oren Barzilai, Start A Fire provides marketers, brands and publishers with a badge to grow and expand their audience by recommending content within any link they share.
The badge is fully integrated with social media tools such as HubSpot, Buffer and Oktopost and supports both desktop and mobile devices.
