Skyport Raises $30M in Series C Funding

skyport_logoSkyport Systems, a Mountain View, CA-based provider of an enterprise security architecture platform, raised $30m in funding.

The round was led by GV (formerly known as Google Ventures), with participation from Cisco Investments, Thomvest Ventures, Northgate Capital and InstantScale as well as all existing investors Index Ventures, Sutter Hill Ventures and Intel Capital.

The company, which has now raised $67M in total, intends to use the funds to expand sales and marketing and accelerate its research and development programs.

Launched in May 2015 and led by Art Gilliland, CEO, Skyport SkySecure provides a secure infrastructure for protecting IT environments from attacks while providing visibility into all traffic and administrative changes. Delivered as an integrated system, Skyport Systems SkySecure can be deployed to protect an organization’s critical workloads by providing continuous validation to ensure system integrity and remote management to ensure auditability.
