Oro Raises $12M in Funding

orocrmOro, a Los Angeles, CA-based global provider of open-source business platforms focusing on CRM and B2B e-Commerce, raised $12m in funding.

Highland Europe made the investment. In conjunction with the funding, Tony Zappala, a Partner at Highland Europe, will join Oro’s Board of Directors,

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the development of its flagship products and to further drive international expansion in sales, marketing and partner development.

Led by Yoav Kutner, CEO and Co-Founder, Oro provides OroCRM, a SaaS/on-premise open-source platform featuring customer management tools, analytics and third party software integrations for all types of businesses, from retail conglomerates to marketing and customer service organizations.
In 2015, the company began development of OroCommerce, a B2B-focused e-Commerce software platform that will provide a diverse range of capabilities such as personalization, localization, intelligent marketing tools, reporting and segmentation.
Since launch, Oro products have been downloaded over 100,000 times, with over 40,000 active installations and in excess of 18,000 enterprise users.
