Mylestoned Closes $1.5M in Seed Funding

-

mylestonedMylestoned Inc., a Boston, MA-based startup that is developing a platform to bring death memories to the digital world, closed a $1.5m in seed funding.

The round was led by Founder Collective, Boston Seed Capital, Converge and angels.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations.

Led by Dave Balter, Mylestoned provides a beta product that enables memory submission via a conversational text-messaging interface and delivers back a collection of memories for contributors to view and share. New memories can be added at any time. In future releases, locations, dates or events relevant to the person or memory will be added. It will also enable friends and acquaintances to prepare tributes that can be delivered and shared sensitively to family at funerals and beyond.
