FI Navigator, an Atlanta, GA-based provider of a web-based bank data and analytics for the banking vertical, acquired AppData, a provider of mobile app data and analytics.
The amount of the acquisition was not disclosed.
FI Navigator previously partnered with AppData in the development of its recently launched mobile banking module, which provides vertical intelligence on the more than 6,400 financial institutions currently offering mobile banking applications, as well as their vendor providers.
Founded in 2008, AppData tracks more than two million individual data points per day, providing performance statistics and digital analytics to drive app developers, investors and advertisers’ business decisions. As part of FI Navigator, the company will continue to provide its subscription services to current clients through its website. Scott Johnson, president of AppData, will join FI Navigator’s management team as Lead Architect focused on solution development and evolution.
Led by Steve Cotton, CEO and founder, FI Navigator provides a web-based bank data and analytics platform for the banking vertical delivering institution-specific insights and industrywide research to FinTech providers and financial institutions.
By integrating unstructured website data and conventional financial institution data, the company creates vertical analytics on more than 13,000 financial institutions and their technology providers.
