Data Point Capital Adds Mike Majors as Managing Partner

Data Point Capital, a Boston, MA-based venture capital firm focused on funding companies that can be leveraged and scaled on the internet, added Mike Majors as its newest Managing Partner.

Majors started his venture career at Brand Equity Ventures, where he focused on software, digital media and consumer internet investments with a portfolio that included MaxPreps (acquired by CBS) and Retail Solutions (acquired by VeriSign).
He was then CFO of adtech company Visible World (acquired by Comcast) and job board Indeed (acquired by Recruit).
Most recently, and up until joining Data Point, Majors was founder and head of Siemens Venture Capital’s $100 million early-stage Industry of the Future Fund.
At Siemens, he invested in 12 companies, including software companies Wurldtech (acquired by GE), Lagoa (acquired by AutoDesk), Polarion (acquired by Siemens), LogRhythm, Black Duck and Digital Guardian.
