Bijou Commerce, a London, UK-based B2B SaaS platform for fashion retailers to monetize from their mobile channels, raised £2m in seed funding.
The round was led by Blenheim Chalcot and Tom Singh. In conjunction with the funding, Dan Cobley, former Google MD UK & Ireland, joined Bijou Commerce’s Board of Directors.
The company intends to use the capital for product development, adding modular bolt-ons to match retail technology advances such as bluetooth and wifi beacons, automating client onboarding with direct API feeds, front end customization, personalization and automatic copy production, and for integration with partners, making the platform code open source and providing the ability for third party developers to build new functionality and sell it through the marketplace.
Founded in 2015 and led by newly added Managing Director Beth Wond, Bijou Commerce is a B2B SaaS platform that delivers native mobile app solutions on iOS and Android for fashion retailers to make more money from their mobile channel. The platform offers a “Tinder Swipe” UI-UX for unique product browsing and real time insights generated by every swipe, which allow brands and global retailers to increase conversion rates and engage their customer base.
