AND CO, a New York City-based smart back office for freelancers, raised $2m in seed funding.
The round was led by Thrive Capital, with participation from BoxGroup, Red Swan Ventures, and Designer Fund.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations.
Led by Martin Strutz and Leif Abraham, AND CO combines an app and experts to take care of small and medium businesses and freelancers’ invoicing, expenses and paperwork.
The company’s experts take care of invoices, track payments from clients and remind them if they’re late. The service also keep track of billing schedules, automatically tracks, reconciles, and categorizes expenses, generates a detailed income statement and keeps all documents in one place.
AND CO had previously raised €500k and this round bring total amount raised to date to $2.5m.
