WigWag Raises $3.175M in Seed Funding

wigwagWigWag, Inc., an Austin-based open-source IoT platform company, raised $3.175m in seed funding.

The round was led by Palo Alto-based CSC Venture Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate product development, expand the Austin-based development and marketing teams, and launch the platform and consumer products.

Led by Ed Hemphill, co-founder and CEO, WigWag has built an open-source IoT platform designed to allow service providers, developers and consumers to manage connected, smart devices. Developers can create applications that do things like adjust to an individual’s preferences of lighting, temperature or music automatically.
