Seven Bridges, a biomedical data analysis company, raised $45m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Kryssen Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to innovate its paltform.
Led by James Sietstra, President, and Dr. Deniz Kural, CEO, Seven Bridges provides a cloud-based suite of tools for biomedical data analysis that powers genomic research focused on cancer treatment and precision medicine from government, biotech, pharmaceutical and academic labs.
The platform may also be run on Amazon Web Services or other public and private clouds.
The company, which has offices in Cambridge, Mass.; Belgrade, Serbia; London, UK; and San Francisco, CA, has also added Tom Daschle, former U.S. Senate Majority Leader and Founder and CEO of The Daschle Group; and Kai-Fu Lee, founding president of Google China, to its board of advisors.
