Nlyte Software, a San Mateo, CA-based provider of data center service management (DCSM) solution for automating data center operations and infrastructure into an enterprises IT ecosystem, acquired FieldView Solutions, an Edison, NJ-based real-time event correlation, alarming and analytics provider to the data center industry.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Founded in 2004 and led by Doug Sabella, president and CEO, Nlyte Software provides customers with a DCSM solution to manage all their existing data center processes, resources, policies, assets and interrelationships. With the addition of FieldView Solutions, Nlyte is extending its capabilities to include real-time event management and the analytics required for proactively managing data center infrastructure to ensure IT service continuity.
Founded as an independent entity in 2009 and led by Fred Dirla, CEO, FieldView Solutions provides a data center infrastructure monitoring software sold and used in six continents, monitoring 2.5 Gigawatts of data center infrastructure power the world over.
The two companies, which have already started migrating the FieldView website over to nlyte.com, will also work on future products together, with more information coming in mid-2016.
