LiveAction, Inc., a Palo Alto, CA-based enterprise IT network visibility software platform, raised $36m in Series B funding.
The round was led by New York-based venture capital and private equity firm Insight Venture Partners with participation from existing investors Accelerate-IT Ventures and Cisco Investments. As part of the transaction, Insight Managing Director Michael Triplett, as well as Phillip Vorobeychik, senior associate at Insight, will join LiveAction’s board of directors.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations globally and accelerate feature product development.
Led by Darren T. Kimura, CEO and chairman, LiveAction provides software designed to simplify network management, including voice, video and application troubleshooting in real time. Initially developed to aid the U.S. Department of Defense in the operation of its networks, the solution features a visual display, real-time big data analytics for decision-making, and integration with routers and switches for network control.
