La Belle Assiette, a Paris, France-based on-demand chef platform, raised €1.3m in funding.
Backers included Kima Ventures, Cabiedes & Partners, Thibaud Elzière, Nicolas Brusson, Guillaume Cuvelier, Benoît Bassi, and Laurent Plantier.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its range of services.
Founded by Stephen Leguillon, La Belle Assiette provides an on-demand platform that allows clients to ask for chefs, who buy ingredients, cook in the client’s kitchen, take care of the service and clean up. Launched 2 years ago, the service is now available in 6 countries (France, UK, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland and Germany) via 700 chefs.
